What could be better than
combining torch and hammer work?
In this fun, creative class you will learn
texturing and simple form folding while
making a couple pairs of earrings.
Supporting these techniques will be
simple torch work to both make the
metal easy to work with as well as
provide a nice patina finish when your
earrings are complete. We will also
use the hammer to give the earrings
an organic shaping. If you have a
torch and hammers, bring them. There
will be tools available for your use
also. We will be working with copper,
but these techniques can be used
with brass and silver too. All material
provided, all skill levels welcome.
