Opening reception 5-8 pm, the show runs July 1-31, 2019. The Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana is very beautiful, but my paintings are not really about beautiful scenery. I look for subjects that explore what it means to live in the Bitterroot and that I feel exist outside of time. I work from memory, sketches, phots and often pure invention.
