"Decriminalization of Poverty"; Panel

Description:
The panel discussion will feature Father Gregory Boyle of Homeboy Industries and several local justice reform experts. This panel will also include Amy Sings In The Timber, Executive Director, Montana Innocence Project; Ann Miller, Managing Attorney, Tribal Defenders, Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes; and Clemente Arciga, returning citizen, Welcome Back. This event will be moderated by Keegan Medrano, Director of Policy and Advocacy at ACLU of Montana. 

This event is part of "Re-Entry Month", sponsored by Missoula Interfaith Collaborative and supported by numerous community partners. “Re-Entry Month” will provide the community a multitude of opportunities to understand our current approach to incarceration and inspire an imagination for how a more progressive and compassionate approach might better serve the needs of our community and the individuals and families therein.
