The Western Montana LGBTQ Community Center is proud to host the 14th Annual Black & White Ball - Strike a Pose!
This year's theme is inspired from 80's ball room culture which was the building blocks for the vibrant Drag sub-culture that we know and love today. The documentary Paris is Burning, or the FX show Pose are fabulous examples. Still don't know what we're talking about? Think 80's Madonna and Vogue!

And what better way to honor the ball room culture than honoring one of the folks that brought Drag to Montana:

Miss Ophelia Bouvier!

We will be honoring this wonderful performer by making some of the entertainment interactive! This year we want you... YES YOU... to vogue down the catwalk to 3 different categories!

The categories are:

"Material Boy" -masculine walk

"Blurring the Lines" - gender non-binary / gender fluid / A little bit of everything

"Toxically Feminine" - feminine walk

So dress up in your best 80's outfit, practice your Vogue, and join us as we celebrate diversity in Western Montana!

If competing for a trophy isn't your cup of tea, no worries, we will have a DJ for you to get your groove on, or you can visit our ever popular Silent Auction full of donations from local artists, businesses and individual supporters.

The wonderful drag performers from the Imperial Sovereign Court of the State of Montana will also be gracing us with a fabulous show!

Light appetizers will be served throughout the night, and there will be a photo booth to capture your special moments! There will also be a cash bar serving a variety of drinks (for alcoholic beverages, you must be 21 with valid ID).

Ticket prices before the show are $40 per person or $60 per couple. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Center. Tickets at the door will be $50 per person (while tickets last).

All proceeds from ticket sales, raffle, and Silent Auction go toward keeping your Western Montana LGBTQ Center open throughout the year.
