Sports of Nature
7:30 PM (America/Denver)
Zootown Arts Community Center
Sports of Nature takes a humorous look at the serious subjects of AI, human obsolescence, and the pending hybridization of humans and computers. You know, "the chip" we're all about to have implanted in our brains! The characters, two cellphones, an iPod, a flip phone, and a human being set up some silly fun, but the play definitely raises ethical questions about how we deal with technology in our lives.

It's the dawning of the Anthropocene and the Technocene! Of the unholy alliance between human and machine. This play explores the promise and absurdity of how we use rapidly evolving technology--a romp through the dawdling ethics guiding our lives. Matinees are followed by tech ethics panel discussions with experts in computer science, bio-tech, and education.

Tickets online and at the door. $15 Students/Seniors $20 General Admission
