Join us for an evening with Linda Leslie as she takes us on a journey through her paintings in our current exhibit, the shapes of strange words.

Linda Leslie has been studying and practicing classical figure painting for forty years. Rendered with a limited color palette, her figures appear as if they emerged organically--with clarity and depth, and refined elegance--from the earthy ground of the canvas. A streak of romance and mystery runs through her work; her subjects feel at once natural and otherworldly, poised in an atmospheric realm of surreal quietude and enchantment.
