8:00 PM (America/Denver)
Beavertail Hill State Park
Description:
Beavertail Hill State Park hosts Kae Cheatham, author, photographer, and researcher, as she presents "Before the Horse: Northern Rockies Lifestyle" as part of the "Montana's Multitude of Myths, Misconceptions, and Little Known Facts" summer speaker series. Indian people of the Northern Rockies are most often considered part of the American Indian Horse Culture; yet their history existed long before the modern horse appeared 280 years ago. Come learn about the resourcefulness of the region's first immigrants, and re-think how ancient cultures are perceived and the importance of this history.
