Sugar Skull Workshop
Sugar skulls represented a departed soul. They were decorated in likeness with the name written on the forehead and was placed on the home of friends or gravestone to honor the return of a particular spirit. Sugar skull art reflects the folk art style of big happy smiles, colorful icing and sparkly tin and glittery adornments. Make your own honorary sugar skull in the ZACC Gallery on Wednesday, October 15th, from 4pm to 6pm. Walk-ins welcome: no need to call and sign-up. This workshop is family friendly and FREE.
