The Mindful Child with Raquel Castellanos
Mondays, October 12-26, 5:30-6:30 PM
$35.00 per child for the 3-week course (includes 1 parent or guardian)
This course is designed to introduce children ages 6-10 and their parents to mindfulness tools including calm abiding breath, empathy for others and self, and compassion. With this common language, parents and children learn tools for life which encourage and build social skills including patience, forgiveness, and listening skills. Participants will learn to cultivate body awareness and how to calm and check in with emotions and thoughts in order to encourage self-determination and the courage to make good choices.
