Debut of An Alien Place - A Documentary Description:
An Alien Place: The Fort Missoula Detention Camp 1941-1944 - is a documentary that seeks to shed light on the imprisonment of over 2000 Italian and Japanese men held at Fort Missoula during the WWII Internment era.

The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula has produced a documentary about this part of Montana's history and the premiere showing of this amazing film will be held at the Roxy Theater on October 7th at 7:30, with guest speakers including local historians, an internee's descendant, and the film's producer.

Tickets are $5.00 each and kids under 14 get in free! All proceeds go to the Friends of the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula and fund Museum exhibits, educational programs, and building restoration.

If you cannot make it to the Wednesday screening there will be a matinee showing on Sunday, October 11th at 4:00 PM. No speakers will be at the matinee showing.
