Bare Bait Dance plunges into its fifth season with Milwaukee duo There's You & There's Me

Bare Bait Dance is pleased to welcome Milwaukee-based dancers, Monica Rodero and Dan Schuchart to launch our 2015/16 production season. Their multi-media duet show, There's You & There's Me, is constructed as a series of dance vignettes woven together, overlapping and echoing throughout the work. Robert and Schuchart explore how meaning is constructed and where meaning and resonance build through language and action. Talented with partnering and weight-sharing, this work is sculptural as well as a multi-media production with spoken and projected texts, pencils as buttresses and roadmaps, and an original sound score by Aaron Chavez. There's You & There's Me is sure to energize the audience with its visual landscapes, absurdist vignettes, and dynamic physicality.
In addition to the performances:
- BBD will host a post-show, talk-back with the audience on September 5th to offer a direct dialogue with the artists about their collaboration and artistic process
