This quintet made their first appearance at Roots Fest in 2013 and was blown away by the hospitality. With foot-stomping original tunes highlighted with five voices of melodies and harmonies, the Dead Winter Carpenters present materials based upon real life experiences. Jenni Charles on fiddle, Dave Lockhart on the upright bass, guitarists Jesse Dunn and Bryan Daines, and drummer Brian Huston crisscross the country, offering Americana roots-rock with a touch of alternative country. They will feel right at home on the Main Stage, performing with three other groups who also took the stage in 2013.
