Please join the ZACC in welcoming watercolor artist Diane Olhoeft to our Hallway Gallery for the month of August. Diane expresses her sensitivity and appreciation for the familiar and beloved scenes around her in her watercolor paintings. Originally from rural Pennsylvania, Diane's inclination to express herself in drawing and paint developed naturally observing her mother designing clothing she wanted to create. Having worked for 30 years now as a physical therapist has given her an appreciation for movement and anatomical structure. She loves the colors and the free flowing way the paint moves in tune with unpredictability, adaptability and movement of nature. Diane is branching out into silk painting which has the free spirit of watercolor with the added advantage that you can wear it and it feels so good. The grand opening of these artworks is Friday, August 12 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. If you are unable to make it to the opening these artworks will be up for the month of August. You're welcome to visit during the ZACC's open hours, Monday through Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm.
