Great American Total Solar Eclipse with Harry LaForge

Description:

Harry LaForge, flight instructor and NASA historian, presents a talk in the Large Meeting Room on the upcoming solar eclipse that will cover the how, why, and where to safely observe this fantastic event. LaForge will explain the historical significance of this total solar eclipse using PowerPoint and models to illustrate the physics and grandeur of the event. The library will also be giving out free solar eclipse glasses at this event. 7:00 PM
