The Missoula Children's Theatre invites you to attend a FREE showcase Thursday, July 27 at 7:30PM at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts. After 6 weeks of intensive musical theatre training, the 2017 class of MCT's Next Step Prep is ready and raring to show off its newly acquired skills.

On June 26, 32 teens from as far as Florida, Connecticut, and Germany began classes at MCT's Next Step Prep. Daily practice in acting, dancing, and singing, along with workshops with Broadway professionals, have enhanced the artistry and confidence of the young performers. Many of the students are considering pursuing a career in the performing arts. This is the 9th summer that MCT has offered the Next Step Prep program.

Managing Director, Greg Boris, noted, "Getting to work with students from around the country who share their love of theatre is a dream come true for the students of Next Step Prep...learning what it truly means to work together in the collaborative art form of musical theatre."

This hour-long performance is FREE and open to the public. There will be general seating in the air-conditioned MCT Center for the Performing Ars.
