Rock The Hood, the third annual Northside/Westside block party will take place on July 19th of 2014 from 3pm to 9pm on North 1st between The ZACC and The Stensrud building. This is an all day celebration of our neighborhood. Neighbors have a chance to meet, greet, dance, mingle, enjoy activities and find out all about the different resources that are available in their neighborhoods year round. Family Activities can include sidewalk chalk, face-painting, volleyball, a Community Co-op lounge, found object mosaics with Home Resource, a big bouncy house, bubbles, hula hoops, juggling, storytelling and more. Come out, meet your neighbors, inspire, connect, create, and Rock The Hood! Musical guests include J. Sherri, Voodoo Horseshoes, Velvet Handlebars, Wartime Blues, and more! Also an appearance by GCLAW (Garden City Ladies Arm Wrestling).
