The 76th Annual Drummond Kiwanis PRCA Rodeo is slated to bolt from the chute Sunday, July 8, 2018!

One of the oldest, continually run rodeos in Montana, the Drummond Rodeo is a full day of activities that celebrate the cowboy way of life in rural Montana.

In 2018, the Kiwanis Club of Drummond is adding a "Quick Finish" Western Art Show and Auction, featuring artists from around the state, including renown sculptor John Ohrmann. Artists will bring in work that is near completion, allowing onlookers to watch them finish the work and then have a chance to buy it and take it home!

But there's a whole lot more! Here's an agenda of the day's activities:

6-11 a.m.
Valley Fire District Pancake Breakfast. $5 gets you some 'cakes, sausage, juice and coffee. East end of Front Street.

9 a.m.
Rodeo Slack. Get your early dose of cowboys and cowgirls competing in the early round.

Noon
Drummond Rodeo Parade. Come see townsfolk and others from the area make their way down Front Street on horseback and in western rigs and classic cars. A kid's parade will precede the main event.

12:30-2 p.m.
"Quick Finish" Western Art Show and Auction. Watch artists complete work on their pieces before the rodeo and have the chance to buy one at auction after the day's events. The art will be on display before and during the rodeo.

2 p.m.
76th Annual Drummond Kiwanis PRCA Rodeo. It's one of Montana's oldest and best rodeos featuring fast action, rodeo clown Danger Dave and fun for the whole family. Great food is also available through our vendors west of the arena.

4:30 p.m.
Western Art Show Auction. Your chance to own an original piece of art that was completed that day is yours for the taking during the auction.

5:30 p.m.
Valley Fire District Duck Races. For the price of a $5 ticket, or a flock of five ducks for $20, you can have a chance to win one of three prizes with a total purse of $950!
