Symposium
7:00 PM (America/Denver)
Lolo Community Center
Symposium Description:
Mountain snow-pack is significantly below average this year, which will likely have dramatic impacts on many functions of the ecosystem. These impacts include: increased risk of fire, drought, increased spread of weeds, low stream flows, and decreased recharge of groundwater.
Defensible space, the water outlook, de-watering of Lolo Creek, invasive weeds, and a Montana climate summary will be covered by the presenters. There will be five speakers each giving a short 15 minute presentation. After their presentations, speakers will move to tables around the room where attendees can approach them individually to ask questions.
