Down the Hatch Festival Description:
Help us kick-off Missoula's downtown festival season with Orvis' very own Down the Hatch (DTH) festival in Caras Park (April 29th)! DTH encompasses everything Missoulian's love during the warm months: fly fishing (free lessons anyone?), good music (Tom Catmull and an up and coming band Milltown Damn, featuring Pete Barrett (one of the original Lil' Smokies)), Big Sky Brewery's nice cold beer (beer tickets support local fishery projects for WestSlope Chapter of Trouts Unlimited), good eats, competition (that's right, watch fly fishing guides from all over the Western United States compete in the Guide Olympics!), activities for the kids, and Orvis's international fishing film festival (where all proceeds from tickets go to a local conservation group dedicated to improving the lives of all who enjoy the wonderful resources surrounding Missoula). Just look for the Orvis hats, wading jackets and generally fishy looking people and join the fun!

After a day in the park, join the migration over to The Wilma, where we'll kick back and take in the Orvis Film Fest at 7:00 PM. Film Fest tickets include an entry into a crazy good raffle . . . and when we say raffle, we don't mean just tee shirts and ball caps (though there will be those too) . . .WE COME TO PLAY! Prizes include sweet new Orvis equipment, awesome gear from our Down the Hatch friends and the grand prize--a wicked cool trip at an undisclosed world class destination. Entry for the raffle is included in your ticket price, so kick back and enjoy the show--but be ready to sit on the edge of your seat come raffle time. See you Saturday, April 29th - where we tackle Missoula's summer's spirit at Orvis's Down the Hatch festival!

"Kicking Plastic"
We are excited to continue our focus, in partnership with Costa Del Mar and Yeti, in making this another "Kick Plastic" event. We truly believe the elimination of disposable water bottles in the outdoor community is paramount for addressing the ever growing issue of climate change and pollution.
