Prescription Drug Take-Back Description:
Did you know that every nine minutes a child is seen in an emergency room for medicine poisoning? (Safe Kids Worldwide) You can help prevent prescription drug misuse and poisonings by bringing your unused or expired medications to our upcoming prescription drug take-back event! We’ll be at the Southgate Mall by the clock tower on Saturday, April 28th. Medications accepted with no questions asked. Syringes, sharps, liquids and pressurized canisters (inhalers for example) will not be accepted.

If you can’t make it to the take-back, take your unused or expired medications to one of Missoula’s four drop box locations: Missoula Police Department - 435 Ryman (open 24/7), Granite Pharmacy - 2230 27th Ave., U of M Curry Health Center - 634 Eddy Ave., or Partnership Health Center - 401 Railroad St W.

This event is a result of the efforts of the Missoula Police Department, Missoula City-County Health Department, the U of M School of Pharmacy, and the Missoula Prescription Drug Task Force.
