Welcome to the wonderful and exotic world of Copper Intaglio and Etching! During our 5-weeks together, we'll begin by exploring the simplistic method of dry-point Printmaking on copper plates, all the while building up our skills to tackle the more difficult processes aqua-tinting and stage-etching using a variety of materials in later classes. By the end of this introductory course, members will not only take away with them a variety of prints they can be proud of, they will also have developed the knowledge to fully explain and replicate the processes that were covered with confidence and precise skill.
