Rai$e Your Voice Telethon
6:00 PM (America/Denver)
Southgate Mall-JC Penney Court
Description:
The International Choral Festival, KPAX-TV & Southgate Mall are presenting "Raise Your Voice," a live on-air fundraising telethon to benefit the 2013 International Choral Festival. The goal is to raise funds to help bring world-class choirs from around the world to Missoula for a week of concerts and cultural exchange in July of 2013. The broadcast will be shown live on Saturday, April 21 on KPAX-TV (CHANNEL 8) from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm. Local choral groups including the Missoula Mendelssohn Club, Dolce Canto, the Missoula Young Men's Chorus, Sweet Adelines, the Missoula High Schools Mixed Chorus, and the Missoula Coyote Choir will perform live during the hour-long Telethon. The broadcast will be hosted by KPAX's Jill Valley, Mark Holyoak, and Erin Yost, who will present entertaining commentary about Missoula's Festival, and interviews with Festival organizers and key community supporters for a perspective on the Festival's impact on Western Montana. Sponsors of the 2013 Festival will also be featured during the broadcast, and Festival merchandise will be available for purchase on site.

Come watch the Telethon live at the Mall, or tune into KPAX Channel 8 from home on Saturday night at 6:00pm, or watch the broadcast live-streamed on www.KPAX.com.

Donations and pledges can be made by television viewers during the Telethon by calling 542-4400, or by making an online donation at www.KPAX.com. The telethon will also be streamed live at www.kpax.com on April 21 and for two weeks after the telethon.
