Families First Children's Museum
Description:
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
The bonds that form between parent and child, especially at the earliest ages, are key to fostering children's healthy development. They grow the skills necessary to navigate life's challenges--impulse control, communication skills, empathy, moral and ethical behavior, and self-discipline. Our free five-session Circle of Security workshop strengthens these bonds by helping parents see the sometimes hidden emotional needs of their children. Children's "misbehaviors" can be changed through this secure parent-child relationship. Free childcare is available.
