As part of MPL’s celebration of National Poetry Month, local poet, musician, and performance artist Tahj Kjelland will present the workshop “Express 2 Speak” to MPL’s two youth writing groups (including Middle School Writers’ Group) along with other youth in Missoula who have an interest in spoken word poetry. The program aims to help young adults discover new ways to express themselves in safe, creative and entertaining ways. Kjelland uses song, dance and poetry to help empower young adults and give them a creative tool to use as an outlet. Meets in the Large Meeting Room. 3:30 PM
