Long Playing is inspired by the list of the greatest 150 albums made by women since 1964, compiled by fifty women from across National Public Radio and the public radio system. The list of albums acts as an intervention, a remedy, and a correction of the historical record. Long Playing is an homage to this endeavor and an embodied tribute to the women who made the list and the women who made it onto the list.\n
