DESCRIPTION:Do you play a stringed instrument (violin, viola, cello, bass) and would like to start playing with a group? Garden City Strings is looking for more members to join us in making music while having fun!\n

We meet every Tuesday at 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church. Potential new members are welcome to join!  Please bring your instrument. We play an eclectic mix of music ranging from Classical to Celtic to Pop and more! The average difficulty of the music we play is intermediate, probably an advanced high school level of skill.\n
\n
We perform several times a year. We\'ve performed at the church where we practice, the Memory Cafe at the library, at the airport for Christmas, high school reunions, senior residence facilities, with high school orchestras...etc.\n
