Missoula\'s favorite teen singing event is back! First Night Spotlight is a high school singing competition, produced via a partnership between Missoula Broadcasting Co. and Arts Missoula. This year&rsquo;s Spotlight event will be live-streamed from the ZACC Show Room from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on New Year&rsquo;s Eve and features several high school students in the Missoula valley.  The virtual event will include live singing, real-time voting, and judges&rsquo; commentary.  Winners will receive cash prizes and future performance opportunities.\n

On New Year&rsquo;s Eve, winners will be awarded the following prizes:\n
People&rsquo;s Choice: $100\n
Third Place: $100\n
Second Place: $200\n
First Place: $300, live radio performance on U104.5, and professional development opportunites with MAMAcademy from Montana Area Music Association.\n

These finalists will be featured on New Year&rsquo;s Eve: Jack Hubbard (Sentinel High School), Amelia Krieg (Loyola Sacred Heart High School) Shea Keene & Cade Slayden (Hellgate High School), Rex Koenig (Hellgate High School), Haley Hoffmann (Homeschool), and Veronica Stimpfling (Hellgate High School).  Spotlight judges are Arielle Nachtigal, Maria Zepeda, and Mark Heyka. MC&rsquo;s for the event are Aubrey Nilson and Tommy Evans from U-104.5 and The Trail 103.3.\n

First Night Spotlight is a production of Arts Missoula, connecting Art, Culture and Community through Education, Advocacy and Celebration, serving as a resource for the coordination, development and support of art and culture for the benefit of the Missoula community. \n
