This virtual program video provides a comforting art-engagement experience for those in the early stages of dementia and their caregivers. Art in the Moment creates a dementia-friendly art community and provides an opportunity for caregivers and those with dementia to interact with art on display at MAM and learn together in a relaxed environment. Led by MAM’s education staff and Teaching Artist, Bev Beck Glueckert, participants view and discuss artwork on display in the galleries and will give instructions and a simple supply list for creating a related original artwork. This session will focus on the exhibition Kristi Hager: Equal: A Work in Progress.
