The ZACC could not be more excited to present Magic Rainbow, works by Blue Rose Lusk, in our Youth Gallery for the month of December, opening First Friday, December 2 from 5 to 8 PM. Blue is a second generation ZACC artist. She was born above the ZACC in 2019, when it was in its previous location on the Northside.

Over the last year Blue’s parents have kept paper taped down on a section of the dinner table, and she was given free reign to an art cart filled with paint sticks, watercolors, and other drawing materials. Blue explored different art mediums and how they interact with each other. She learned about color, patterns and shapes. Sometimes she drew something specific like an astronaut, but the art is mostly abstract, driven by her curiosity and playful imagination. Blue started going to a nature school in August. All sales will go towards her education.
