Bugs & Brews: The Salmonfly Project Description:
The annual Salmonfly hatch is an amazing spectacle cherished by anglers and prized by fish, birds, and a host of other hungry animals. Alarmingly, these massive insects are disappearing from rivers and streams throughout the western US. Through a combination of research, monitoring, education, and restoration efforts, The Salmonfly Project is working to solve this problem.

Join us for a Bugs & Brews presentation to learn all about Salmonflies and the work to restore their infamous numbers from The Salmonfly Project’s founders, Jackson Birrell and James Frakes.

WHERE: Montana Natural History Center, 120 Hickory St., Missoula, MT
WHEN: Thursday, Dec. 1st. Doors open at 6:30PM for socialization, beverages, and meeting some of our favorite Bug Ambassadors. Lecture starts at 7:05PM.
