Dragons Love Tacos with MCT Description:
Hold the spicy salsa! The Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) is thrilled to present the hilariously beloved children’s story, DRAGONS LOVE TACOS, Nov. 13-15 and Nov. 20-22, at the MCT Center for the Performing Arts. Audiences have the choice of streaming from home or watching the production in-person.

DRAGONS LOVE TACOS is MCT’s Theatre for Young Audiences production and is based on the New York Times bestselling book by Adam Rubin. Director, and MCT’s Education Director, Matt Loehrke, says the stage production “adds in colorful elements of slapstick and fast-paced comedy from big characters that have won over millions of young readers for years.”

DRAGONS LOVE TACOS comes to life onstage thanks to the talents of a cast made up entirely of MCT staff, all of whom have years of acting experience. Loehrke adds that “many of the cast will be recognized as teachers of MCT’s camps and classes. It is great to see these teachers show off their craft to our community (especially to our students who learn from them) because they are hysterical!” Cast member, Katie Farrell, adds, “Who isn’t excited about dragons and tacos? I am!”

Loehrke is excited to have audiences “join us online or in person for this colorful, fun, and wholesome adventure as we explore just why indeed dragons truly love tacos. Just remember to leave the spicy salsa at home, or keep it away from your streaming device. Why? Well, you will just have to discover that for yourself!”

DRAGONS LOVE TACOS will not have an intermission, and is expected to run under an hour. Tickets are available at MCTinc.org. This production is sponsored by Taco Bell.
