Mindfulness for Holiday Stress with Christine Lustik, PhD.
6:00 PM (America/Denver)
Missoula Public Library
Description:
The holidays are a mix of emotions. Everything we see tells us they are supposed to be a glittery time of joy, ease, and connection. For many, they are also, and possibly more so, a time of sadness, stress, and loneliness. In this workshop, we will practice the awareness of where we are as individuals during our holiday journey and will learn about some Mindfulness based tools and practices that can support us during the holiday season. This workshop is taught by Christine Lustik, PhD, owner of Mindfulness in Organizations, LLC. Christine trains individuals and groups within education, non-profit, healthcare, government, and corporate organizations how to practice Mindfulness with the goal of increasing focus and resiliency and decreasing stress and chaos. Christine’s goal is to support each individual in finding their own strength and resilience. Christine has completed three (3) years of Mindfulness Teacher Training with the Mindfulness Training Institute in San Francisco and Mark Coleman’s Awake in the Wild program. Meets in the Large Meeting Room. 6-8 PM
