Azul is a movement-based practice that incorporates guidance, supporting entering into the body through movement.
All are welcome, and no experience necessary. Conscious movement is dancing from the inside out versus from the outside in and when dancing from the inside out, it makes no difference if you have been dancing for a long time or if this is your first ever dance. In Conscious movement there is no wrong way because your way is the right way.

Azul spirals you into spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of self. In Azul, we practice four orientations: Listening, Allowing, Opening, Moving Towards. If there is a curiosity to know more, come join and experience it with your body.

What to Expect:
A Certified Teacher, who has gone through rigorous training will create a space and guide your experience on the dance floor after years of experiencing it all themselves.
The Four Orientations (Listening, Allowing, Opening, and Moving Towards) will be introduced and the way for a free-form dance experience will be paved.
Conscious movement can bring up feelings and emotions. If strong emotions or discomfort arise, instead of leaving the room, be with it on the dance floor - moving or not moving. Founder Gabrielle Roth used to say, even when we are not moving, our hearts are always moving.
