Indian Country Conversations - Honoring Ancestors Description:
MAM continues to host a series of afternoon discussions called Indian Country Conversations, which complement exhibitions by contemporary American Indian artists featured at MAM throughout the year. This series is aimed at providing a platform for research, innovation, and traditional knowledge by American Indian artists, scholars, researchers and cultural advocates. Individuals of all backgrounds and ethnicities are welcomed and encouraged, with the goal of developing a learning environment that promotes cross-cultural exchange in relationship to relevant exhibition topics. This series is made possible by support from the Cultural Vision Fund and the Llewellyn Foundation.

The fourth talk of the conversation series, features exhibiting contemporary American Indian artist Lillian Pitt, with Corky Clairmont.
