In this two-part workshop you will learn how to safely use a cut-pile rug tufting machine to create an approximately 15” x 15” mini rug, along with demonstrations of how to set up a tufting frame and how to add texture with manual loop tufting tools.

Nov 4: 6-9pm - Part 1: Design and create your rug with the tufting gun. Glue the back of the tufting cloth.

Nov 5: 6-7pm - Part 2: After the glue has dried overnight, we will cut the rugs off the tufting frame, add the backing, and trim the yarn. Participants will be able to take their finished rug home!
