Getting More out of Social Media
11:30 AM (America/Denver)
Montana Media Lab
Getting More out of Social Media Description:
Deciding how to approach social media for yourself or your organization is a daunting task. What platforms should you use? How often should you post? What content will resonate with your audience? In this two-day workshop, Lee Banville, UMT professor of journalism and a founding editor of the digital and social media wing of the PBS NewsHour, will work with workshop attendees to create or modify their social media strategy, develop clear benchmarks for measuring social media work and generate social media content that works.

This workshop takes place over two Mondays (Oct. 28 and Nov. 4) and meets from 11:30am-3pm at the Montana Media Lab, Don Anderson Hall room 101 at the University of Montana.

Early bird pricing available through October 11.
