The School of Theatre and Dance continues its 2023-2024 season with a spooky story for the whole family. ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,’ a one-act play adapted from Washington Irving’s story by graduate student JM Christiansen, will run in the Masquer Theatre Oct. 26-Nov. 4. Sleepy Hollow has a new schoolmaster … and an ancient terror! This adaptation of a Halloween classic features familiar characters including Ichabod Crane, Brom Bones, and Katrina van Tassel. We follow Ichabod as he struggles to fit into his new life in the Hollow, tries to manage his infatuation with Katrina, struggles in his rivalry with Brom, and encounters the spirits who live beside them all, led by the infamous Headless Horseman.
