These free, community-driven events hope to bring folks together every Saturday this October from 2PM - 6PM in the Garden area at 235 N 1st St W, Missoula, MT

Enjoy live jazz, beverages, and more…bring your friends and let’s celebrate community spirit together!

The Jive & The Skalsky Quintet!

The JIVE is a dynamic ensemble dedicated to reviving and redefining the vibrant spirit of Hot
Jazz and 20s Swing. Drawing inspiration from the legendary figures of the genre—Django
Reinhardt, Bireli Lagrene, Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Charlie Parker, and Freddy Taylor—The
JIVE weaves intricate melodies and infectious rhythms that captivate audiences and evoke the
joyous essence of early jazz.

Built on virtuosic solos and precision ensemble playing, The Skalsky Brother Quintet brings a
technically dazzling take on traditional gypsy jazz. Their performances are marked by blistering tempos,
Guitar/Clarinet interplay, and a deep reverence for Django Reinhardt.
