Imagine Nation Brewing and the Missoula IWW General Membership Branch team up on October 17th to raise money for the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local D239 workers still under lockout in Three Forks, Montana. This summer, France-based Imerys Talc tried to put through a contract that would phase out retiree healthcare and freeze the pensions of the workers at the facility in Three Forks. When the Local D239 workers- who comprise 13% of the town's population- rejected the contract, they were locked out of the plant while scab labor was brought in to do their jobs. Two months later, the picket line holds and union workers stand fast against Imerys' unfair conduct. The workers at Three Forks are hurting from having been denied work for so long- several families are expecting babies soon and winter is fast approaching. On October 17th we gather at Imagine Nation for an eclectic night of music and comedy to help Local D239 reclaim their workplace. Event starts at 5 PM- come one, come all!
