Flying the Spirits Free: traditional arts performance by Kofi Anang of Ghana, West Africa. Open Space (PARTV005), UM Campus. Enjoy music (kalimba, drums, bells, song, shakers), storytelling, dance, and conversation about Ghanaian cultural traditions & dance/rhythm of Home-going Celebrations (transition from life to death). Free for UM students, $5-$20 suggested donation at the door. Co-sponsored by the Dance Program of the UM School of Theatre & Dance and Unity Dance & Drum. 7-9 PM
