Dates: October 15 & 31
Time: 9:00-11:30 a.m.
October Location: Kelly Island Fishing Access
Cost: $25 for non-members and $20 for members per program
*There are two dates available for each bird club every month. You only need to pay for one of the dates in the month and you can join us on both of the dates! You will still need to REGISTER FOR BOTH DATES, so we are able to cap our club size at 10. You will receive an email with two discount codes after you complete your first registration. One of the discount codes will allow you to register for the second date of June, and the second discount code will allow you to register for future month’s bird club meetups for a 30% discount!
About the Instructor: Elena Ulev is a Master Naturalist and Certified Interpretive Guide with over 30 years of experience conducting bird surveys and birding for fun. She is an avid eBirder, logging 180 species in Missoula County to date. Elena uses a variety of techniques to help all ages and experience levels learn how to identify birds by sight and by sound.
Participant cap per event: 10
What to Bring:
snacks, water
clothes for changing Montana weather conditions
writing implement and journal (optional, though handy)
COVID Precautions:
small class limited to 10 students
masks may be required or recommended indoors depending on CDC guidelines and Missoula numbers
vaccinated MNHC staff and instructors
