On their debut album, ‘MARZOULA’, produced by Alan Evans of Soulive, the band deepens their sound, channeling the tectonic dance grooves of their live show into a studio setting. “The album’s theme is the paradox of being from rural Montana and somehow still being drawn to historically urban music”. From old-school flavored soul tunes to disco-funk grooves with a contemporary synthesized sheen, the seven-piece band has produced an accessible 14-track album.
