Arts Missoula is hosting the Montana Steinholding State Championship at Germanfest on October 3rd at 6:00pm! Steinholders from across the state will compete on stage to see who will win the title and advance to Nationals!

The winners from the men's and women's division will move on to Nationals in Cincinnati, Ohio in November.

Qualifying rounds will be held at Bayern Brewing on Friday, September 18th and Friday, September 25th. Participants must qualify at an official qualifying event in Montana. The Steinholders with the top 10 times will compete in the Finals.

Registration to qualify is not required. Just show up to an event and give it your best shot!

Hosted by Arts Missoula and Bayern Brewing, Germanfest honors Missoula’s Sister City relationship with Neckargemünd, Germany—founded in 1993 with a formal Pledge of Friendship between the cities.

Dress up in your Dirndl or Lederhosen, dance, eat, drink, and celebrate with your community. Germanfest is free and open to all.
