Description:
T’ai Chi Chih is a mindfulness-moving meditation practice that’s easy to learn. The series of 19 movements and one pose helps circulate the Vital Energy, the Chi. Practitioners experience peace, and improved health on a physical as well as mental and emotional level.
T’ai Chi Chih has demonstrated its effectiveness in at least twelve controlled trials over a twenty-year period, the Arthritis Foundation, the American Medical Association, The Mayo Clinic, and other well-known and respected health & wellness authorities have all endorsed T’ai Chi Chih as an evidence-based mindfulness practice as well as a viable treatment option effective for various physiological and psychological conditions.
While we can practice simply as a way to ground and center, we can also use it to work on areas of our lives that we would like to transform. We can study, focus, and concentrate to train the mind as well as the body to find balance, calmness, evenness. Once a week practice helps to integrate TCC practice into one’s life. The breath, the heartbeat, and the machine we call our body is a miracle. To be awake has led many to a growing appreciation of this life.
Available online or in person!
Instructor: Lynne Roberts
4-session: $45
