National Public Lands Day - Native Planting Description:
If you have reverence for your access to our beautiful Montana mountains and streams, come take care of them! Lolo Watershed Group is hosting a Planting day along the Lolo Creek at Travelers Rest State Park. Lolo Creek is a historically significant and beloved but also on the 303(d) impaired list for sedimentation. We hope to armor the floodplain and banks with native trees and shrubs to help prevent erosion!

We will be meeting at the park at 10am and working until 2pm with the option to work till 4pm. We're asking volunteers to help cut fencing for individual browse, pounding tposts, diggin holes, and plugging plants!

Please bring your own work gloves and lunch. We'll have some refreshments and treats set out for you :) Hope to see you there!
