Have fun making photographs at the Moon-Randolph Homestead and Garnet ghost town. In the classroom, you learn exposure, composition, and lighting tips. You discover how to tell a story of the place by shooting wide-angle, normal and detail pictures. Then you meet at each location on two Saturday mornings to explore the buildings and artifacts. In addition, you use Adobe Lightroom Classic to adjust exposure and contrast, lighten and darken parts of the image to improve its visual impact, and change pictures to black white or sepia. Knowledge of your camera’s controls, access to a tripod and familiarity with Lightroom Classic are recommended. A small entrance fee is required to visit Garnet ghost town.
