Ten Spoon Presents: A Rocky Mtn Spoken-Word Showdown Description:
We are excited to announce that on Saturday, September 22nd we are hosting A Rocky Mountain Mountain Spoken Word Showdown! We want to host an event that highlights the quality of talent in our area, reminds our regional community that we are available as a signature location for progressive, artistic and family friendly events, and that is a blast for all involved.

This will be a widely advertised/promoted event that intends to have a regional draw by having a super fun day that’s by the artists, for the artists...and free and open to the public all day (11a-9p) . We'll provide fun and safe environment for free artistic expression with fun, open competitions and several non contest-based activities, and you bring your creative spirit!

We will have five stage areas set up around the vineyard to accommodate all events. These include:

Morning Meditiation
Independent Artist’s Market/DIY Creation Station
Food Vendors
Guest Speakers
Act Writing Prompt/Performance Contest
Rap Battles
Spontaneous/Slam Poetry Contest Painting
Comedy Contest
Pre-Written Poetry Contest
Middle School Angst Competition
Musical Acts/Awards

(detailed descriptions below)

If you would like to be involved in organizing, trade prizes for sponsorship mentions and logo placement on promotional materials, talk more about media coverage, or have a good idea…please contact us! We have the folks on-hand to make this a truly exciting and fun event, but we want this to be a signature community celebration of the spoken word and the arts, and we’re warmly open to others being involved. All inquiries can be directed to our coordinators via info@tenspoon.com or tenspoonwebmaster@gmail.com. Thank you so much for your time and we look forward to seeing you at Ten Spoon’s first Rocky Mountain Spoken Word Showdown!
