Sept. 21 is United Nations International Peace Day. In honor of that, the documentary We Are Many is being broadcast worldwide as part of a live-stream event.

WE ARE MANY is the never-before-told story of the largest demonstration in human history, and how the movement created by a small band of activists changed the world. This fearless, thought-provoking documentary is the remarkable inside story behind the first ever global demonstration, and its surprising and unreported legacy.

The Subject:
On Feb. 15, 2003 over 20 million people demonstrated around the world to try to prevent the US war against Iraq. Demonstrations happened on every continent on the planet. Including Antarctica.

Mariah Crossland and Robbie Liben are two local activists featured in the documentary. More well-known people featured in the film include Noam Chomsky, Tariq Ali and Media Benjamin, among many others.

The Event: 100 Cities, One Night for Peace.
1: The Move, We Are Many,
2: An energizing live panel addressing the issues raised in the film and exploring the power of non-violent protest will follow the screening with Director Amir Amirani, luminaries featured in the film, and leaders from various protest movements.

Cost: $12 General Admission or $7 for Students and Seniors
