The String Orchestra of the Rockies kicks off its 2025-26 season with a Missoula concert on Sunday, September 14th, at 4:00 p.m., in the University of Montana Music Recital Hall. Fresh off performances in Billings and Victor, MT, the orchestra returns to its home base to share music by Luigi Boccherini, Einojuhani Rautavaara, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
In addition to the September concerts, the 2025-26 season includes Sunday afternoon 4:00 p.m. performances on November 23, February 22, and April 12. Guest artists include Pedja Muzijewic, piano - Artistic Director of Tippet Rise, a return appearance by renowned violinist Stephanie Chase, and oboist, Jenifer Cavanaugh, Dean of the College of Arts and Media at UM.
Season tickets are still available and may be purchased, along with individual concert tickets, online at sormt.org. Remaining tickets will be available at the door.
