Description:
What happens when you put a dancer with an ancient orchard? A painter with a fresh water research laboratory? A musician with a dammed waterway?

Find out during Translating Place, an exhibition at the University of Montana Gallery of Visual Arts, open September 2019. This exhibit features works of art by 18 artists from the inaugural year of the Open AIR Artist-in-Residence program

Come see the compelling way artists from across disciplines have translated their experience while in-residence at unique locations in Western Montana.
